The highly technical with state of the art equipment and the pressure of meeting management quotas that sometimes accelerates the process missing a very important element, which is achieving a perfectly finished job. This is the type of operation that you find at many of the large corporate owned chains of body shops with orders and quotas being dictated by the main office. On the other hand, you have the body man that has learned the trade out of vocation and has a passion for perfection. He is not constrained by time or by anybody's orders. He strives to make a work of art of every job he comes across. The latter is the category that Pete Welles belongs in. For over 20 years, not only has he strived for perfection in his work, but he has gained a reputation amongst many of the classic collectors because of his high standards of excellence. Although most of his reputation has been with Classic automobile restoration, he applies the same passion for every other brand of car that he comes across.
